GDPR
As of May 25, 2018, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (commonly known as “GDPR”) came into effect. This regulation is directly applicable in all EU member states, including Poland, and introduces several changes to the rules governing personal data processing. These changes affect various areas of life, including the use of websites such as luqam.com.

Purpose of Data Processing
Personal data collected by LUQAM may be stored and processed for the following purposes:

- To establish, exercise or defend against legal claims related to a contract with you,

- When voluntarily entered in contact forms,
- Through cookies stored on the User’s device,
- Through web server logs collected by the website hosting provider.
Data Entered in Forms and Retention Period
- Providing personal data in registration forms is voluntary but necessary to perform a service.
- Providing data in the contact form or subscribing to the newsletter is voluntary.
- The data you may be asked for includes:
- Name and surname, address, email address, company name, job title, university name, field of study, student ID number, phone number, and areas of interest related to LUQAM services.
- The data entered in forms will be processed to fulfill services or provide commercial contact and to comply with legal obligations – until the statutory data retention period expires.
- Your data may also be processed for marketing purposes (upon your consent) until such consent is withdrawn or you object to processing.
- Once we receive your request to stop storing or processing your data, it will be deleted or anonymized.
Your Rights Under GDPR
According to GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Access to your personal data,
- Data portability, rectification (correction or completion), deletion or restriction of processing,
- The right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) if you believe your rights have been violated,
- The right to withdraw consent at any time by emailing: zgody@luqam.com or in person at LUQAM’s office, 47 Kamieńskiego Street, 30-644 Kraków,
- The right to object to the processing of your data for marketing purposes, including profiling; such objections may be submitted via email at zgody@luqam.com or by mail to LUQAM’s registered address.
